Riverside Retreat: Luxe Home, Game Room, Hot Tub

We had a great stay at this property and our host was extremely responsive, helpful, and flexible. The property is surrounded by beautiful nature and the peaceful Ellis river. The property is great for a group of up to 10 and very relaxing. We were close to all wonderful activities of the Jackson, and North Conway areas. Thank you again for allowing us to build wonderful memories at this place.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the property. The house is beautiful, cozy and everything was top notch. We loved the river running through the back garden and the sound of the water from the house. It is a peaceful relaxing home. Everything is there we barely left the house. We swam, played pool, cooked, sat by the fireplace and enjoyed the hot tub. Would highly recommend this vacation spot

There was so much space in this home! It was lovely to sit by the fire in the evening, listen to the rush of the river, and make s’mores with family. We especially enjoyed exploring around the swimming hole. My husband was impressed with the kitchen! Great spot; thanks!

As others have said, it’s a great spot. The house has a very unique and chique 70s layout—everyone has their own space, and each bedroom truly has its own wing (and private bath) in the place—and I still can’t get over how massive some of the beautiful picture windows are. It does have a “lived in” feel to it: you can tell the owners have had decades of fond memories and experiences there, and the cupboards are stocked with previous renters’ dry goods, etc. We found it warm and inviting and unassuming, but people wanting a pristine and sterile Airbnb should look elsewhere. The check out asks were EXTREMELY un-stringent, and were such a welcome relief to recent trends that give you two pages of rigid, passive agressive instructions. The hosts were communicative and highly organized. And, if you like cooking, the stove was the stuff dreams are made of.

Great spot in the White Mountains! We had a guys trip (7) and slept everyone comfortably. Utilized all the amenities (hot tub, river, pool table, beautiful back deck, etc). For those wanting peace of mind that you have a host that genuinely cares about your experience and will check in and be responsive if anything were to go wrong (which we didn't), these guys are on the ball and clearly care about their property and want their guests to have the best experience possible. To nitpick, if you're a sleeper or not a morning person, the sun does come in early and often and without blinds it does make sleeping in difficult but you should be up and at 'em when staying in this area because the location is perfect and you're within 15-1hr of anything and everything you come to the region for.! Amazing stay and if we find ourselves back in the area, I definitely will be rebooking. Would recommend for families, guys/girls trips and everything in between, amazing home.

This is my favorite house I’ve stayed at! We had 6 adults, 4 kids (ages 10-14) and a dog. Each of the 3 main bedrooms had their own private bath. The cousins loved that they were all in the same bunk room and they had their own bathroom too. Having a 1st floor bedroom was great for my parents so they didn’t have to climb stairs. We loved being nestled in the woods, surrounded by trees and hearing the river run. The kids and the dog loved swimming in the river! The best spot was a short 5 minute walk down the path. Lots of natural small waterfalls, slides and plunge pools. We enjoyed many nights of meals and games at the large dining room table that sat us all. We also enjoyed the fire pit/hot tub area. It was great that they were so close together so people could enjoy both at the same time. The house has a lot of large windows that really bring the serenity of the outdoors inside. The pool table also was a big hit with the kids. We fully enjoyed our stay here! We hope to be back soon!

Wow, what an amazing time we had staying here (4 adults and 4 children). Being right on the river was extremely peaceful, and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the trails/watering holes. The house was such a treat to stay in - we couldn’t have picked a better place. The location, the privacy, the amenities - would absolutely recommend this unique house to anyone! We had a great stay during our recent guys trip to Jackson. The house is centrally located and has everything needed to enjoy an afternoon or evening after a day out adventuring. We spent much time cold plunging in the river, shooting pool, grilling on the expansive deck and really enjoying all the house had to offer. The house was also large with what felt like at least three bedrooms that could jockey for being called the master bedroom. This really allowed for a large group to be together yet also have their own dedicated space. The hosts were extremely responsive. I would stay again!

We had a lovely time staying here for a ski weekend. The house had more than enough space for our group of three couples to not feel on top of each other while also having wonderful communal space for us to gather and enjoy each other's company. It is centrally located to a few different mountains which gave us plenty of options. Would definitely recommend and we would love to stay here again next time we are in the area.

The house was quirky in its layout, but it worked out great for us. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to cook, plus multiple coffee makers. A big plus was the fireplace (bring your own wood). I found a local firewood company that sold wheelbarrows of wood, which was much better than the small bundles at Grant’s grocery. The hot tub was a huge bonus, especially since we were there during a sub-zero cold snap. The mini-splits were essential for extra heat and kept the house comfortable despite the extreme cold. Tim and Rafael were proactive and very responsive to all of our needs. They even allowed us a late checkout since our last day was during a snowstorm. Overall, it was an excellent weekend for our family.

We had an amazing stay whilst visiting to ski. A beautiful home with a spectacular view and plenty to do in the area. We would visit again!

Fantastic place! Great views. Lots of space for everyone to sleep, the 3 private suites (and bunk room) were great for our family trip. Really nice, Well-stocked kitchen. Appreciated the art, decor, and quirky layout too, had lots of soul and felt well-loved and unique! Easy access to skiing and outdoor activities, Jackson and North Conway both nice areas with shops and dining. Would definitely stay again!

We picked an awesome weekend to take the family to this wonderful home. Minutes from a trial for the dogs, breakfast at Yesterday’s, a short ride to Zeb for some novelties, and of course football, pizza and Irish songs at The Shannon Door. The house was spacious, clean and convenient to all that we wanted to do. Tim was super responsive and gave us all the info we needed for a memorable few days! Highly recommend this beautiful home and its host!

Tim is an excellent host. We stayed a few nights at his Carroll listing before here and that was great too. This Jackson home is the real deal. It's a very unique, fun floorplan and surprisingly comfortable and cozy. Better than the photos. Nice privacy between the rooms and levels. The fireplace and the main level living area was fantastic - amazing views, super cozy, spacious and so nice to open the windows and hear the Ellis River. Hot tubbing by the outdoor fire was the bomb! Thank you Tim and Rafael. We can't wait to come back!!

Our family of 10, ages 12-71, just wrapped up a long weekend in this fun, spacious home. All meals were prepared at home in a roomy, well stocked kitchen with fantastic appliances big and small. We enjoyed the game rooms pool table and dart board (the dart board could use some new darts). We watched Sunday afternoon football in the game room but wished we could have watched it on the main floor next to the kitchen so that we didn’t have to carry food and drinks up and down but we made the best of it. Some even enjoyed the hot tub right outside the game room area. All the rooms were spacious and cozy with lots of comfortable seating options. Our hosts Tim and Rafael were always in touch and very responsive. We really appreciated the late checkout option. The only negative item was the lack of blinds on any window. One person in our party said the neighbors light lit up the area outside her bedroom windows and wished she was able to block it. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was amazing, perfect base camp for my friends and I to explore all that the regions had to offer. Only one word can accurately describe this home, AMAZING! It is absolutely beautiful with stunning views of the Ellis River. My family enjoyed walking the short trail down to the water to swim or just relax. The home is also in close proximity to many attractions.

This property is in a wooded setting on the banks of the Ellis River. You hear the "babbling brook" from the deck. It is a well loved and lived in family home. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances, utensils, spices etc. with multiple grilling options on the deck. The master bedrooms were lovely. We also used the additional amenities of the billiard room and workout room. We enjoyed the hot tub a number of times after hiking. Our main activities were hiking, fishing and exploring the river and cooking. Our host was always immediately responsive when we contacted him with questions. Everyone had a wonderful time.

Cool home with lots of space and gorgeous river below. My twins loved walking down to the swimming hole and exploring the river. If you like to cook I honestly have not found a better equipped kitchen or deck! We enjoyed our time so much and will certainly love to come back.

Fantastic stay! The house was private and peaceful. Having the water right outside was incredible, and the swim spots by the home are some of the best on the river. Tim was a kind, responsive, and helpful host. Highly recommend!

Communication was very good; easy check in/out process. Our large group travelled from various locations and we were only there for a few days. We had no intentions of going anywhere once everyone arrived, so the river access was key. We enjoyed hours of fun in the water!The house itself was musty and superficially cleaned before we arrived. The kitchen appliances, tools and refrigerator were not clean. We were continually finding ants and we cleaned many spiderwebs. There were used soaps and dirty toothbrush cups in all the bathrooms. The gas grill and griddle had not been cleaned, and there was trash left in the yard. We ended up checking out a day early.

First time in Jackson NH. Spent a week with our family and small dog. Spacious, relaxing, all the amenities you can think of. Fantastic property for all ages. Great outdoor setting on the Ellis River. Crystal clear water, swimming holes, and even brooke trout. Local golf, restaurants, hikes,….and don’t forget pastries at the Autumn Nomad. Communication, check in, and check out process with Tim was great. Look forward to coming back.

My wife, 5 kids, and I spent Five nights here and everyone loved it. House was very clean upon arrival. Tim's house is very unique as well and just designed well. Bathrooms are all beautiful. There are plenty of them as well. House is laid out that everyone could have plenty of privacy when needed. House is far enough away from North Conway where you are not dealing with any traffic but close enough where its only short ride. We frequented the Red Fox Bar and Grille during our stay, which is very close to house. We thought the food was excellent as well. We also loved walking down to the swimming hole. The walk is more than worth it. There were beautiful views swimming on the river and we all loved it. My kids are all ready asking to go back next year. House was totally worth it and wouldn't hesitate to rent again.

Lovely stay at Tim's place. My brother, dad and I were in search of a quiet weekend getaway in nature, and we certainly got it. House is charming, extremely well equipped and clean. The location between Jackson Village and Pinkham Notch is ideal for a weekend in the mountains. Tim's communication was very attentive and proactive. We loved every aspect of the stay and hope to return again soon!!!

Such a beautifully designed home! We had the best time.

It is hard to find such nice Airbnb's so close to the White Mountains that can fit a whole family or a lot of people. But this place did that and also creates an experience onto itself. My family and I enjoyed even just our time staying at the house. This made it feel that we didn't have to rush out of the house everyday. We could calmly and thoroughly enjoy our stay and then head to the mountains when we felt like it. All of the amenities and the beauty of the property made it so, and you can tell the hosts make sure guests feel like they can soak up their time in the house from cooking to lounging!

This house was perfect for our family gathering to celebrate our matriarch's 92nd birthday. There were enough spaces on several levels that different groups could gather. The bedrooms each have their own baths and are on different levels also giving privacy when needed. The deck and hot tub proved to be favorites. The large kitchen had every cooking utensil needed and a full cupboard of spices and staples. The location is just minutes from Pinkham Notch Visitors Center and lots of hiking options. We went every evening to see the beaver pond at Pinkham Notch but sadly, didn't see the beavers. All in all, a great holiday in a beautiful location.

The house is excellent and located close to the river. It has a beautiful view of the river and mountains. It is in a great location near lots of great hiking trails and only a short drive to restaurants and shopping.

It was all that I needed and more for a peaceful getaway/ Bachelorette in the mountains! 🥰 Doesn’t get anymore peaceful or serene than Tim’s amazingly large and homey house overlooking the river right in the trees. The rooms and bathrooms were all of massive/ spacious size and space. If you love to cook, then this kitchen is like your very own restaurant. All of the amenities you could possibly want were available to us (the hot tub, board games, towels, firewood, etc) so if we didn’t want to leave the house then we didn’t have to. But, if looking to go towards town it was easily accessible about 20 - 30ish min to Conway or Bartlett for variety of shops, restaurants, attractions (my fav the Conway Scenic Railroad)!!! LOVEDDDDD staying at Tim’s home in Jackson, NH!! 🤩🤩🥰 Wish I stayed longer!

Our stay in Jackson was one of the nicest houses we have ever stayed in on Airbnb. The kitchen was state of the art with everything you need to cook a 5 course gourmet meal. All the bedrooms were private and on different floors. The hot tub outside was the highlight after skiing for us to help us with muscle recovery. What also impressed us was the massive custom windows that allowed you to view the top of Mount Washington. To top it all off the art and interior decor made this place feel like home to my family. We will for sure be coming back to the place in the future. The pictures don’t do justice. You have to see this home in person. -Thank you Tim and Rafael for providing such a beautiful home for us.

We came to ski a few days at Attitash (15 min away) and Wildcat ( under 10 min away) We loved the property. The layout was perfect for us all to enjoy quality time together, but also have our privacy of multiple master bedrooms with private bathrooms. We loved all the amenities the home included. Would highly recommend to all future guests :-)

Great housr, comfortable and pleasant. Very well equipped, great space both private and communal areas. Views were lovely. A few of the downstairs bathroom outlets didn’t work and the hot tub was gritty and could have used a cleaning but otherwise excellent place to stay.

Staying here with my friends was one of the best experiences we've ever had. The house was absolutely amazing, and had everyone talking about wishing they could actually own it. Tim was incredibly responsive, and super helpful every time we had a question. Our check in time ended up moving due to change in plans, and Tim was quick to answer and make sure everything was ready to go for us. The house was close to all grocery needs, and access to local adventures. All in all, such an amazing find and we will definitely be coming back.

This house is nothing short of amazing!!! My husband and I eloped at this Airbnb and will return every year for our anniversary. It is a beautiful home with a lot of character and a lot of space for privacy, but allows you to be close enough to still feel like a Family vacation there’s so much to do and the views are amazing. You will not be disappointed in renting this home the hosts and go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable in their home 10 out of 10 highly recommend.

Host was extremely communicative/responsive, and the house is as listed. Perfect amount of space for our vacation with three generations of family, both to come together for meals and games and to have personal space when needed. Kitchen has everything you could need for big meals. I loved the town of Jackson and surrounding area! So much to do that we couldn’t get to it all in our 5 days there. We would love to come back to experience it in all seasons!

The place was unique and each room brought the outdoors to you. Windows with views of the river and the snow capped mountains. The natural wood walls and flooring on the main level again reminded us of all that we can do with what nature provides. The wood furnishings were beautifully crafted. All of the “natural” was complemented by billiard, darts, a hot tub and games / puzzles galore. So much fun to be had ‘at home’, there was no need to get out! Nearby mountains offered trails for all hiking levels. The quaint towns of Jackson was a 2 minute drive, literally. If you like to shop, North Conway was only 10 minutes away. Lots of restaurants to choose from in the area for such a rural setting.But why go out when the kitchen has absolutely every appliance for to manage any creation you may dream.Beds were not the most comfortable in the world, but at home in this place you won’t want to sleep.

The property was beautiful and so close to all of the N Conway area activities. We split the stay with two other families and 4 kids between us. The kids had an awesome time and didn't want to leave the house. Lots of room for personal space and had everything we needed for stay.

Our stay on the Ellis River was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene beauty of the location. The house itself is a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Waking up to the sound of the river and enjoying our coffee on the deck while watching the water flow was an experience we’ll never forget. The interior was tastefully decorated, and well stocked. The chef’s kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the cozy living room with its fireplace was the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. The bedroom suites had spectacular views, even from the showers! The kids loved the bunk room, game room, hot tub, and playing in the river! The location is unbeatable, right on the river, with easy access to hiking trails, local attractions, and the charming town of Jackson. But what really made this stay special was the feeling of being truly away from it all. Communication was excellent. We will be back!

Great place in a phenomenal location. Lots of room for a group of 8 of us to congregate but also have space by yourself. The location by the river is fantastic, and the swimming hole 5 minutes walk down a path was great! The house is a bit quirky but highly functional and the kitchen is as advertised- very well stocked with equipment. I’d definitely stay there again. Bonus the don’t advertise- if you like to fish the Ellis is a good stream and was catching small guys right out the back. Tim is also very helpful and responsive.

This was such a great place to have all my friends come together and have plenty of space to stay and hang out. So much to do inside or outside! Endless things to do there such as the swimming holes, exploring the river, having s’mores on the outside fire pit, relaxing in the hot tub, playin pool, darts and board games. The dinning table is big enough for all to sit have dinner together. 10/10 recommend! Thank you Tim for the best stay!

Property was unique. Views out of the rear windows and deck was pristine wilderness. Everyone loved the distinctive layout. It was anything but a cookie cutter home that is currently prevalent on today’s market.

We are a family of 10 six adults and four children. We all had a great time. The house is extremely spacious at the same time very cosy and inviting. The rooms for the adults were more like individual suites, private yet steps from the main living room, dining room and kitchen. Great deck in the back. Had a green egg (great for smoking steaks)which was fantastic. Also very close to the river. Enjoyed the rapids and the swimming holes although the water was really cold. We definitely will go back.

Our stay at this home was nothing short of extraordinary. Nestled in a private wooded setting with the soothing sounds of the Ellis River as our constant companion, this home was a true sanctuary. From the moment we stepped inside, it was clear the home was designed for comfort and enjoyment. We were greeted by large windows that offered breathtaking views of the Ellis River. The center-piece of the spacious living area was a stunning stone fireplace, perfect for cozying up with a good book and a glass of wine. The other entertainment areas we enjoyed tremendously were the well-equipped exercise room and the cozy game room, with its pool table, TV, and built-in seating sofa. We walked down to the river as much as we could for sunbathing on the rocks, picnicking or a cold plunge followed by a warm soak in the outdoor jacuzzi. Our stay was outstanding, and we can't wait to come back. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a serene and memorable getaway. Thanks Tim!
